Privacy

The short version

ReqCue exists to move documents from your clients to you and then get out of the way. We store as little as we can for as long as we have to, and we don't read, sell or share what your clients send.

What we store about you

• Your email address, which is how you sign in
• Your name and business name, which your clients see on requests
• Your timezone, so requests and reminders go out at a sensible hour
• Your plan, and the minimum billing metadata our payment provider returns

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

What we store about your clients

Only what you enter: a name, an optional company, an email address, and any private note you write. Notes are visible to you alone.

Your clients never create an account with us. When they open a request link they see the documents you asked for and nothing else — not your other clients, not your other requests, not your email address.

Documents

Uploaded documents are stored privately and are accessible only to you. There is no public link to any document at any time. When you download one, we generate a link that expires after a minute.

Storage is temporary by design. Documents are deleted 14 days after a request completes on Free, 90 days on Pro and 180 on Business. The record of what arrived and when stays in your history; the file itself does not.

We do not read, scan, index or analyse the contents of your documents.

Email

We send transactional email only — requests, reminders and completion notices. No marketing.

Requests are sent on your behalf with your verified address as the reply address. When your client replies, their message goes directly to you. We never receive it, and we have no access to your mailbox.

Who processes your data

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage
• Resend — sending transactional email
• Lemon Squeezy — payments and subscriptions
• Vercel — application hosting

Logs

We keep operational logs to run the service. They identify records by internal id. They never contain document contents, filenames from your clients, request links, or credentials of any kind.

Your choices

You can edit or delete a client, cancel a request, or close your account at any time. Closing your account deletes your profile, your clients, your requests and any remaining documents.

What we don't claim

We are not SOC 2, HIPAA or ISO certified and we don't claim to be. We take security seriously and we say what we actually do rather than reaching for a badge.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we'll email you before it takes effect.
